HIDDEN HISTORIES OF THE EASTERN CAPE

A collection of unpublished historical sources from the rich history of the Eastern Cape

The Eastern Cape has a very rich past, having played a pivotal role in the history of South Africa. But much of this history is undocumented, and will be lost with the passing of time.

I have set up the Hidden Histories project to collect stories, photographs, documents and other historical sources that tell the story of the Eastern Cape’s past. My aim is to then make that collection available via this website. I am very excited to share it with you. Keep reading on to find out more information.
